JCI Manchester President 2020, Rachael Shah says:

"The 2020 Manchester Young Talent Awards (MYTAs) follow on from the  outstanding success of last year’s 10th anniversary celebration with a particular focus on diversity and inclusion. As our 2020 vision is “To be a diverse, engaged and empowered internationally connected network that provides development opportunities to young professionals.

Each year we are blown away by the high calibre of the applications and overwhelming support we receive from Manchester’s business community. Though we can always do more to ensure the diversity of the Greater Manchester region is represented across our award categories. MYTA 2020 would strongly encourage organisations and networks that are working to champion the Diversity & Inclusion agenda to submit nominations.

We believe that as a city Manchester has a wide variety of young professionals who deserve the opportunity to be celebrated for their contributions to the business community. We are dedicated to facilitating personal development for all young professionals, and as part of that commitment we will be putting on events throughout the year to ensure members and non-members learn to recognise the award winning behaviours we look for in our nominations. Manchester is passionate about developing its young professionals and JCI Manchester has a fundamental role in helping to develop, and showcase young professionals from all backgrounds.

Given the wealth of talent that Manchester has to offer, winning - and being shortlisted for – an award at MYTA is a huge accolade. As we have seen from previous winners (myself included), it is a great platform to go on and achieve further professional success.

Nominations will open March 2020, and will recognise up to 14 awards for those between the ages of 18 and 40 who exemplify the best attributes of Manchester’s young people. JCI Manchester will present the Young Talent Awards for 2020 at an Awards Dinner on 13th November at The Midland, Manchester."
