Joe Averill 

Joe joined OBI following a career move which saw him leave the tech / software industry into the world of real estate. Joe played an integral part in the rapid growth of his former employers AppLearn, with one of his most notable achievements being the sealing of a relationship with one of the UK’s largest brands. Joe's tenacious approach saw him rise quickly through the AppLearn ranks after graduating from Bristol's University of West England with a BA Hons Degree in Business Studies. His arrival at the OBI team grows the skill set of the Transactions & Asset Management department and will bring a fresh approach to lead generation. Joe’s appointment brings a dedicated service to OBI’s landlord clients which the competition does not provide. Joe also runs the Studio OBI business, which is a creative agency spun out of OBI, that focuses on branding, video, graphic design, web design, web development.

Carol Ann Whitehead 

The Zebra Partnership is headed by Carol Ann Whitehead, a Royal Society of Arts Fellow and award-winning magazine publisher, Carol Ann is a communications expert with experience organising a variety of events from 8 to 8000, U.K. and overseas, plus organising five royal visits since 2004. 

A former Associate Lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University and Trustee of Walk the Plank Arts Charity, Carol Ann is also an advocate for equality and diversity she has organised International Women's Day events since 2013. She is co-founder of the Ada Lovelace Day Zebra Wikieditathon, which aims to increase women’s global presence on Wikipedia from 17% and contributors from 10%. #ZebraTribe #Wikieditathon is very proud to be on History Pin.

Chris Longbottom

Chris heads the Family Law team at Clarke Willmott, Manchester. He regularly deals with the issues that arise for an individual following the breakdown of a relationship, in relation to divorce/civil partnership dissolution, their financial affairs and their children. He offers a personal and tailored service to meet an individual’s specific needs, listen to their objectives and provide an excellent level of service with the warmth and respect delicate issues require, ensuring that they understand each and every step taken. Testament to this is the fact that the majority of his work is generated through recommendations by previous clients and professional contacts. Chris is a member of Resolution. He is also a regular “go-to” expert commentator on divorce and separation matters. His comments and legal insights from a divorce perspective on the recent Ashley Madison data breach were covered in a number of national media – including primetime BBC News and Sky News.

Sam Jones

Sam Jones is the managing director of multi-award winning creative agency
Tunafish Media. Formed in 2011, their clients include Uber UK, The Royal Society of the Arts and Motorsport UK. He also co-founded Not Just Soup, a homeless support network which has seen over 45,000 meals provided to the homeless from local restaurants. Not Just Soup won the Queens Award in 2019.

Beth Brown

Beth read English at Oxford and joined London advertising agency Ogilvy and Mather upon graduation. She then worked on Coca-Cola for the CSR consultancy Good Business, before moving to Manchester and joining Kellogg where she progressed to Marketing Manager. In 2014 she became Marketing Director of Soreen. In 2019 her role was expanded as she became Group Brands Advisor for Samworth Brothers (Soreen’s parent company). Her role includes supporting the development of Samworth Brothers’ other brands and advising on Group brand strategy. 

Lucy Noone

Lucy Noone is a figure within Manchester's hospitality industry. Having worked at several notable restaurants within the city in many different roles, giving her a true understanding of what it takes to succeed within a competitive industry. Having chaired debates at Manchester's Northern Bar and Restaurant Show on "Food is truly analogue but how we experience it is increasingly digital", bringing her expertise in discussing how brands and businesses build brand loyalty and ensure their share of the marketplace. 

Whilst on maternity leave last year, Lucy set up Pear Communications and now works with a cross-sector range of clients in all aspects of hospitality from FOH, positioning, launches, PR and marketing.
